It’s true. You’ll have a lengthy hike down the hill if you prefer to walk. Our listing says 10 minutes, but it’s more like 20 if you enjoy the scenery.
This time of year the greenery in Tamarindo peels back to give us the best ocean views. No place can appreciate this more than Xanadu. From most windows, you can see as far as the end of Playa Grande.
If you’re not familiar with the area, that’s far away. It’s the far end of Tamarindo Bay, about an hour away on foot if you walk the beach. If window views won’t do, you can sit on the balcony, enjoy a meal or drink with your view unobstructed.
If that gets too hot, then take a float in Xanadu’s private infinity pool.

We’ve arranged for everything you need in Casa Xanadu, so you won’t be without. You can even have food delivered from the local market, so you don’t have to go anywhere if that’s your preference.
