Tucked between the supermarket Estrellas, as it is commonly referred for short, is a mini oasis in the most central spot of Tamarindo. When you lie on the chaise lounge with your toes dangling in the pool you’ll hardly be aware you’re in the middle of things.
The pool and grounds are landscaped and maintained to create an intimate gathering space, where you will likely meet other travelers and sun-chasers sharing stories of conquest from their vacation.
Across the street from Estrellas is one of Tamarindo’s hottest salsa dancing clubs, Maluco, where Tuesday nights you can salsa to a live band until your feet fall off. Up three floors from the supermarket is Higher Grounds, where there are billiards, dart boards, and often live music. More importantly Higher Grounds serves food and beverages with an amazing view.
If you don’t care about views, you have many food options within a short walk of your place: Mexican, Asian-fusion, Italian, Pizza, Argentinian, and others. Like we said: the heart of Tamarindo.

Number 15 is a special unit for Estrellas. Of course, HPV lists other units in the building, each of which brings its own brand of charm, but 15 is special. It’s the largest unit you can rent, and it enjoys one of the best views in the building. All the units are above the pool, but because this unit is on the top floor you can see out over the forest canopy spreading from the shore.

There is a full kitchen with all the necessary amenities: refrigerator, range, oven, microwave, coffee maker, TV, WiFi, and a toaster. You will also find all of the basic tools you need to cook, like pots and pans, and tableware. Cook meals for yourself or hire an in-house chef to cook for you.
